30 Years In Steel
Founded by Gordon Bennett and Peta Simmons, Bennetts Steel started off as ‘Bennetts Steel & Timber’ in Wauchope in 1991, primarily selling timber and some steel. Timber was becoming less used during the early to mid 1990’s due to environmental issues and less milling, so 'Gordie' decided to step away from timber and only stock steel, becoming what it is today, Bennetts Steel.
In the late 1990’s Bennetts Steel relocated to the current site at Industry Street in Wauchope.
