We’re a family-owned and operated business founded by Gordon Bennett and Peta Simmons in 1991. Keeping it in the family, the dynamic Bennetts Steel team currently has daughter Shiree Bennett at the helm who is supported by a team of talented men and women who are skillful at their trade and make Bennetts Steel a great place to work.

Our rural community has a deep tradition of working hard to support the local farming and logging industries. We help each other when times are tough and find ways to make our community better. The community support has allowed Bennetts Steel to become what it is today, and we are proud to have been an active part of the local community the entire time.

Bennetts Steel is one of the largest privately owned steel retailers on the East Coast. Our focus is on providing outstanding service, product availability and cutting to size. We have a footprint of over three acres, filled to the brim with steel, in stock and ready to go.
